Blake’s plan was simple: buy a ring; take his long-time girlfriend, Catherine, for a walk on the beach; surprise her with a proposal; and have photographers waiting to capture the moment. The last step of his plan was where we came in.
We got to the location early so we could have a look around and work out logistics on how to be the perfect ninjas. Unfortunately, the cliff that Blake wanted to use was the size of a postage stamp with nothing to hide behind. In the end, John decided to wait in the parking lot and follow them in–which allowed him to grab a nice shot of them strolling to the beach. Catherine had no idea what was waiting for her at the end of the path. As you can see from the photos, her answer was “Yes!” :)
